Thursday 15th May 2014
11 people have been arrested after 24 hour drugs raids in West London.
More than 200 Met officers carried out searches in Hillingdon, Hounslow, Ealing and Richmond, seizing drugs and stolen goods.
11 men and one woman, all aged between 20-40, were arrested at 15 addresses for a range of drugs related offences and handling stolen goods.
They all remain in custody at various west London police stations.
Detective Chief Inspector Richard Turner, who lead the operation, said: "Today's actions are just one example of how we have powerfully acted on community concerns. Since the start of this operation last year we have successfully convicted 18 individuals - some of whom are prolific offenders."
"These results have without question had an exceptionally positive impact on the every day lives of our communities."
