1,500 Dogs In Cages In China On Way To Restaurants
Animal rights activists are furious after 1,500 dogs were found travelling in cages on lorries in China to a slaughterhouse where their meat would be eaten as a delicacy.

These disturbing images of starving dogs squeezed into tiny cages were taken by welfare volunteers in Chongqing, south-west China, as they rescued 1,500 dogs from the back of a truck destined for a slaughterhouse.
