Blackfriars Underground station closure
Blackfriars Underground station, which is on the District and Circle Lines, is closed until late 2011 as part of Network Rail's Thameslink upgrade programme.
Transport for London are advising that you use Temple or Mansion House stations instead.
The overground station is to remain open during these upgrade works.
Roadworks
M25, there are long term roadworks between J17, Maple Cross and J21A, St Albans to increase the motorway to four lanes in each direction. Narrow lanes and speed restrictions of 50mph are in place in both directions. Overnight lane and slip road closures will also be in place at various times.
M25, there are narrow lanes in both directions between Junction 27, M11 and Junction 28, A12 because of major roadworks to widen the motorway.
M3, there are roadworks in both directions between J3, Bagshot and J4, Camberley.
A1(M), only two lanes are open in both directions because of the refurbishment of the Hatfield Tunnel.
Albert Bridge is closed both ways because of roadworks.
