'Supine Protoplasmic Invertebrate Jellies' - Boris

Monday 25th February 2013

Boris Johnson has been ejected by the London Assembly from a meeting to discuss his budget.

Assembly Members kicked the Mayor out when they thought there was a chance of voting down his budget.

But a Conservative Assembly member who missed the start of the meeting turned up in time to deny Labour, the Lib Dems and the Greens the two thirds majority they needed.

The Mayor labelled the assembly "great supine protoplasmic invertebrate jellies".
