Itto Restaurant - Stoke Newington
Placed on stoke Newington High Street this little Japanese/Chinese restaurant serves up fresh and tasty dishes in a clean and simple environment. Wagamma style benches with quick service and generous portions. Perfect for a quite night out with several great pubs dotted around in the area. £6.50 Pork Pad Tai.

Okawari - Soho
Don't get overwhelmed and carried away with the buffet offers in China town. This little Japanese cafe serves lunch in generous portions for just £4.99. You get free green tea and a selection of hot dishes as well as sushi boxes. Salmon Teriyaki and green tea £4.99

Indian Veg Bhelpoori House - Angel
If you can handle the vegetarian propaganda posted on the walls and have the stomach for vast amount of lentils then this could be your dream buffet. For £3.50 you can eat as much curry, poppadums, rice and chutney as your body can take. The food is tasty fresh and filling. Great value for money.

Somine Restaurant
- Dalston
Open 24 hours a day, this Turkish restaurant is a wonderful surprise in the heart of Dalston. Serving a selection of soups and freshly cooked meat dishes, the menu changes daily. You can eat heartily for around £6 per head in this clean and bright restaurant, although I would prefer to call it more of a cafe, but it's a fantastic place to grab a late night meal.

Josephs Cafe - Stoke Newington
There is a selection of greasy spoon style cafes scattered across London but for some real east end charm, pop into this one. It's a cosy cafe with free newspapers and a fair selection of lunchtime and breakfast meals. They do a Sunday roast for about £6 on the weekend and great all day breakfasts for only £5.

spring rolls large.jpgNoodle City - Harrow
This gem of a Chinese cafe is hidden on the streets of west London in Harrow. They serve hot noodle soups, crisp won tons and spring rolls always at a fraction of the price of other places. You can eat well here for about £7 in their minimal style cafe with fast and efficient service.

Italiano Coffee Company - Fitzrovia
If you're a pizza fan then you can't really go wrong in this place, mainly because that it all they serve. It's a little bit like your eating in a tin box with the steal stool seats and tables but the food is all freshly cooked and tasty. For £3 you can get a huge margarita pizza.

Stockpot - Soho
We are not going to assure you of the quality of the food here; we're just let you know that it's cheap, hot and served with a smile. It looks like someone's grandma has written the menu but apart from that there is little wrong with this place. Sit yourself down in one of their retro booths and taste the delights that will bring back memories of school dinners. Jelly and ice cream £1.50 main meal are all around £5.
