Burns Night Raises £70,000 for Help a London Child
Our very own James Whale raised over £70k for Help a London Child as he hosted The Marriott Burns Night Celebration on Friday 21st January.
Guests from across the city enjoyed an evening of traditional Scottish entertainment at the stunning 5* Marriott Grosvenor Square in London. Including a live Highland band before the toasting and tasting of the haggis rounding the evening off with ceilidh dancing to The Flying Chaucers and classics from renowned DJ John Osborne.
Throughout the evening guests took part in fundraising activities including a balloon draw, heads or tails and a grand auction raising over £70k for our charity Help a London Child.
All funds raised helping us to continue our financial support to grass-root projects working with London's less advantaged children and young people.
