Friday 5th September 2014
A caller has told of the remarkable lengths that immigrants in Calais are going to to travel to the UK.
Blair, a lorry driver working routes across Europe, told Julia Hartley-Brewer that immigrants in the French port were regularly jumping in front of their lorries to force them to stop.
And the problem has got so bad that French police have told the drivers that if this happens, they should not slow down.
Blair admitted that recently, his articulated lorry hit one man who was desperate to reach Dover.
