Cameron calls for Bob Quick apology on Ferrari's show
The Assistant Commissioner of the Met has apologised after Tory leader David Cameron told LBC's Nick Ferrari he should retract his comments.
Bob Quick's now released a statement saying he's "reflected on the comments, made yesterday at a difficult time for me and my family".
He says he would like to "apologise unreservedly for any offence or embarrassment that's been caused".
The row started after Mr Quick, who's leading the investigation into Whitehall leaks claimed an article in the Mail on Sunday was the work of the Tory party.
