Can lip-readers detect accents?

Question

I have a foreign accent, but if someone was lip-reading me, could they detect my foreign accent?
Bob, Guildford

Answer

** Definitive **
Name: Steve, Bow
Qualification: I’ve been 60% deaf for all of my life
Answer: When you lip-read, you watch the movements of the mouth. It has nothing to do with the sound at all. So accents will be utterly undetectable.
