CCTV Released A Year on From Sydenham Murder
Thursday 9th February 2012Detectives are asking for anyone with information about the murder of a man in south east London to come forward - on the first anniversary of the attack.
24-year old Samuel Guidera was found collapsed near Penge East station after being stabbed and robbed.Police want to hear from anyone who was on the Victoria to Orpington train which Samuel was on shortly before being attacked.
The CCTV images show members of the public who police think could help them find the person responsible.
Detective Chief Inspector Laurence Smith, from the Homicide and Serious Crime Command, said: "We would urgently like to speak to those people in the new CCTV images in the shop and in the street outside, they may have information that would assist the investigation and it is really important that they come forward and speak to us."Samuel was carrying a distinctive pink T-mobile carrier bag which someone may remember.
"We have previously released CCTV images and a video on YouTube to encourage people to come forward. Even if these people think they have no useful information for us, we want to speak to them. They may hold information that helps us piece together the events leading up to Sam's death.
