Che: Parts 1 and 2
This biopic works better as a single film, but the first half is still much stronger.
There's a great deal to admire in both parts of the story - particularly Benicio del Toro's brilliant performance in the title role (how did he not get a Best Actor Oscar nomination?) and Steven Soderbergh's gritty camera-work and efficient editing.
