Cyclist Dies Following RideLondon

It has been confirmed a cyclist in this weekend's RideLondon event has died.
Kris Cook collapsed at Newlands Corner in Surrey from a sudden cardiac arrest. He recieved medical treatment but was pronounced dead in hospital.
The 36 year old was part of a group raising money for Woking Hospice.
His mother has said that he died doing something he loved and has welcomed donations in his memory to his fundraising page at www.justgiving.com/Kris-Cook - which at time of writing was already ten times over his £500 target.

prompt medical attention was provided by event doctors on the scene, his
