David Cameron: UKIP 'Fruitcakes And Loonies'
Monday 26th November 2012
This is the moment that David Cameron told Nick Ferrari that UKIP was full of "fruitcakes, loonies and closet racists".
Back in 2006, the then Conservative Party leader made the controversial comments to LBC 97.3's Nick Ferrari, dismissing members of the anti-Europe party.
A spokesman for Number 10 told LBC 97.3 nothing has been retracted and that the Prime Minister never called every single member of UKIP a racist.
It follows the removal of three children from a foster family by Rotherham council because the parents are UKIP supporters. The council have launched an internal investigation after widespread criticism from the main parties.
