Defiance
A gripping, moving story which I'm surprised hasn't been told on screen before.
I'm equally stunned, given the subject matter, that this film didn't receive more attention during awards season. Strong performances from Daniel Craig, Liev Schreiber and Jamie Bell.
Edward Zwick's handling of the material is a little heavy-handed, but overall this is an impressive war-time drama.
