You’ve heard of the expression "he drinks like a fish". Do fish actually drink? I know they suck water in through their respiratory system, but do they drink?

Answer: Fish usually take water in without drinking. But saltwater fish drink and then expel the salt, otherwise there would be took much salt in their systems. Freshwater fish don’t need to drink, as they get all the water they need from OSMOSIS!
