Do snakes have tails? And if so, where do they start on the body?

Answer: The tail begins where the cloaca which holds their sexual organs. That is about 3/4 down the snake.

Answer: I used to keep snakes and at 3/4 towards the end of their body, there is what they call the vent, which is where their bits are kept. So I would assume that was where the tail starts.
