Do you get wetter if you run in the rain?

If you get caught in a rainstorm, do you stay drier if you walk slowly or run for cover?

Answer: There is a static amount of rain that will hit the body – so if you stand still, the rain above you will hit you. If you then start walking, you are walking into the rain, so you will walk into some raindrops, which will be dynamic raindrops. The faster you go, the more rain you will walk into. So you’ll get wetter when you walk or run than if you stand still.
