Downham Stabbing Death: Four Arrested

Four men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man died following reports of a fight in south east London.

The 22 year old was stabbed in the leg in Coniston Road in Downham. Police and London Ambulance Service were called to reports of a fight outside a nearby McDonalds branch just before 9pm on Sunday. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

A post-mortem examination gave cause of death as shock and hemorrhage and a stab wound to the leg.

A 23 year old and an 18 year old were arrested on suspicion of murder yesterday.

Another 23 year old and a 19 year old were arrested this morning.

The murder is not being treated as gang-related.
