- I support Chelsea and have done since the 1970’s. I’m not one of the recent ‘jumpers’ who have only supported them since Roman’s involvement.
- I’ve appeared as an extra in ‘The Bill’ and ‘Eldorado’.

- I was voted the 19th Most Powerful Person in Radio by the Radio Times although I’m not quite sure why.
- I have appeared in a pop video with infamous actress Linzi Drew.
- Michael Barrymore was once a contestant on a talent show I was hosting. He came seventh.
- I worked in a company that cleaned the rotating hand towels you get in public toilets.It was easily the worst job I have ever done.
- I used to be a phone operator at LBC and my big radio break came when Tommy Boyd failed to turn up and I was handed the microphone instead.
