Fox Falls Through Children's Ward Ceiling
Monday 11th August 2014
Children at a hospital in north London had to be evacuated after a fox fell through the ceiling.
The animal had crept into North Middlesex University Hospital during building work before it came crashing down into the children's ward.
The ward had to be shut for three days, following the incident in June.
A hospital spokesman said that it had crashed down into a staff area and no patients were disturbed.
Eight children were evacuated from the ward and staff called in the RSPCA to remove the curious animal, he added.
