Gatwick Security Breach As Man Reaches Lounge Without Ticket

Gatwick Airport has started an investigation after a man was let through security without a boarding pass this morning.
The man was with his family and got as far as the departure lounge at 8.20am before staff caught up with him.
Gatwick insists no passengers were at risk.
A Gatwick Airport spokesperson said: "Earlier this morning a gentleman accompanying his family through the airport was incorrectly allowed access to the departure lounge without having a boarding pass.
"The incident is being investigated but all individuals correctly passed through the series of full security search and screen processes so there was no risk to passenger security."
