James O'Brien is hosting a live LBC debate at the presigious RSA, asking an influential panel: "Should we stand by - or take a stand?"
Do we have a moral responsibility to help others who are in trouble, no matter the cost, or are we perfectly justified in obeying our instincts for self-preservation and simply walking away?
Why don't we ask the person on the tube to turn their music down? Because we assume someone else will, or because we fear the potentially violent fall-out?
Debating this will be a top panel of experts and commentators, including former mayor of London and LBC presenter Ken Livingstone, Crimewatch presenter Nick Ross and Chief Executive of the RSA and the architect of New Labour Matthew Taylor.
