Gran Torino
Clint Eastwood is on such a roll right now. Within the space of 12 months, he gave us ‘Changeling’ and this cleverly written and beautifully directed drama.
It features a very moving third act and what is, arguably, Clint’s finest performance to date.
The film is, however, blighted by a few irritating clichés which stop me giving it the full five stars. To fully appreciate its visual style, go high-def!
