Have your say: Will the Crossrail Project Be a Success for London?

Have your say

The £16 billion Crossrail scheme will see London linked by high speed trains between Berkshire and Heathrow in the west, and Shenfield in Essex and Abbey Wood in south-east London in the east.

But it has already been hit by cost cutting measures with the Whitechapel and Canary Wharf stations being redesigned to save money.

And now the Evening Standard is reporting that its opening will be delayed by a year - meaning the service might not be up and running until 2018.

But will the project be a success for London or a headache?

Former Mayor of London Ken Livingstone wants to know your opinion. Call him on Saturday from 10am on 0845 60 60 973 and vote in the poll below.
