CCTV footage of two men who broke into an apartment has been released by the Met police in an attempt to trace the pair.

Two men broke into a flat in Grove Lane, Camberwell, on Wednesday February 1, and stole a number of personal items.

The pair broke into the apartment at about 2.10pm and CCTV footage inside the sitting room caught two suspects on camera carrying out the search and taking some 'high-value' items.

Detectives in Southwark are appealing for information about their identity and whereabouts.

One of the men is described as being mixed race, 6ft tall, wearing a black woolly hat, blue jeans, and gloves, with a beard.

The other is described as a black man, about 6ft, wearing a black coat, blue jean and Adidas trainers.

Detective Constable Kieran Fowler said: "We need the public's help to identity the two men who committed this daytime burglary. If you know who they are or have any information please contact police or Crimestoppers."
