Maajid Nawaz has offered what he describes as an “uncomfortable” answer to what is driving young British men to turn to extremism.

The LBC presenter joined Iain Dale in the wake of the Manchester Arena terror attack which claimed the lives of 22 innocent people.

Police named 22-year-old Salman Abedi as the man suspected of carrying out the horrific bombing.

He was born in Manchester to Libyan parents, who fled after becoming opponents of Colonel Gaddafi’s regime.
