House of Marley In-Ear Headphones
Finding a decent pair of headphones that do justice to all the wonderful music you have on your MP3 player can be a problem.
I've tried dozens of pairs over the years. Everything from a £5 set to a pair costing £300 and while the £300 pair were excellent, they are way beyond the price reach of most people.
This week, The House of Marley launched their range of headphones in the UK. While I’m often dubious of legendary names being used for product endorsement, I’m pleased to say that the Marley range are outstanding.
I'm not a fan of on-ear headphones and I've been searching for a great set of in-ear headphones for a long time. When I tried the Zion range for the first time, I was amazed. Beautifully clear sound with comfortable silicon tips to block out distracting noise without the need for noise cancelling technology.
If you like bass, you'll love these. With all the bass levels switched off on my MP3 player, they produce a stunning sound allowing you to hear every hi-hat, flourish and drumbeat. Turn the bass on, and you have a deep pounding sound that will keep all the drum & bass and dance fans very happy indeed.
Other highlights include a 52" fabric cord which means you’re not restricted by movement and cuts down on static and FSC-certified wood for the in-ear piece which creates a truly unique sound experience.
The range starts at £20 and goes up to £100 - and if your budget can cope, go for the high end pair. You'll really appreciate the difference.
Of course, your sound tastes may not match mine, so try them out before buying them. But not only are they my Gadget of the Week, they are on the list for Gadget of the Year too.
