I was cutting a potato last night and I found a maggot. There was no hole, so how did it get in and how did it stay alive?

Answer

** Definitive **
Name: James O’Brien
Qualification: Maggot expert
Answer: A maggot is a baby fly and the fly lays its eggs below the surface of items. So the fly will have laid its egg inside the potato and then the maggot will have been born. A hole would only exist when the maggot comes out.
