Allister Heath the editor of City AM joined me to review the week’s big business news stories. Iceland has voted against paying the UK and the Netherlands back for the money they owe. The government covered the losses and Allister made the comment that they were advised they would probably not see the money again – but continued anyway. Clearly the markets are recovering and Allister seems to think that as it is a world index the FTSE will continue to rise next week..
