It's fair to say that more bad news about the economy isn't what you want to hear. I know. However the meltdown in financial markets across the world does affect you, your savings and how you prepare for your financial future. Indeed I don't think you can have predicted what's happening now so is it fair to blame the bankers, the financial system or the bonus culture? Have they got their comeuppance?
I'm Not sure we got an answer. I'll admit it as we were distracted by the arrival of Josh Hartnett. He's appearing in rain Man at the Apollo Theatre in the West End. What a nice chap he is and what great insight he gave into his inspirations, how he prepares for a role and what he thinks about when he wakes up in the morning. Oh and he hasn't been airbrushed. He really is that good looking...
Then What's the point of Prince William? Much as I like and support the Royal Family I do wonder about this PR offensive going on at the moment. Anyway it is what it is. As is Political Correctness. I am not a fan. Indeed we live in a Christian country and it's about celebrating what we have as a culture, respecting those who have their religious beliefs without curtailing freedoms. Quite how we achieve that at the moment I'm not sure. But you had some excellent comments on why people come to this country and how so many of these stories don't reflect real beliefs and opinions.
