A hounded genius?

Are the public partly responsible for Michael Jackson's death?

Is the media spending too much time following every detail following the sad death of the King of Pop, Michael Jackson? Yes. Whilst I too am sad to see him leave our world, sometimes I wonder just how much harm saturated media coverage can do. I also think he was a genius though many of you seem to think it was more the people around him than himself. I’m not sure I agree with that, I’m afraid and I will certainly treasure many of his songs as the soundtrack to my life.

But I did ask you about tea. The cost is rising so I asked you what the best way to enjoy a cup of tea. Many of you seem to think it might actually keep you cool during our heatwave that’s expected for the beginning of next week…

Oh and Harry Houseago rang in. He’s got to the final of a competition called Live and Unsigned. Which is excellent news! Check out his myspace to have a listen and we wish him luck. Seriously take a listen (Wonders of The World is my fav there!) and here is the link to the competition page.

Good luck Harry!

And on to the benefits… apparently the government will pay out more in benefits next year than receive in income tax. I say, cut benefits now. NOT to those who need them but don’t you think we need to see an end to benefits incentivising people to stay out of work? And why have our opposition politicians been so useless in identifying that the system is broken and what they should do to fix it.

I’m back tomorrow for Business Matters from 5pm
