Karfty ploy to kill our golden goose!

Posted by James Max on January 10, 2010 at 19:34PM

And what do we do about Iceland?

Allister Heath the editor of City Am joined me to discuss the big business news stories of the week. What seems to be happening is a realisation that although some banks and bankers are to be blamed for our financial malaise that our taxation policies and general vitriol against them could be killing off our nation’s golden goose. Allister also thinks that the FTSE might have a good year. As it no longer reflects the UK economy but the world economy which is in better shape. We also ran through the big stories of the week. Cadbury could go to a foreign buyer but Allister does not think that the Kraft deal is good enough. As for the Icelandic banks – we the taxpayer may very well end up with the bill.

After 6pm I was joined by Mike Wizard, The Debt Wizard. Lots of great advice and of course if you wish to get some more information do go and have a look at his website www.debtwizard.co.uk

I’m back for Breakfast next Saturday. And in the meantime don’t forget to download my FREE podcasts! “Cashpoint” and “Buy It Sell It Rent It” which have some super guests and information that has not been on the radio. You will find them on our website here or on itunes.

Have a great week!
