Messy service

Which public service gives the worst customer care?

Is the postal service in ruins? It’s possible not as bad as the figures might suggest. The strikes didn’t help but I did ask what other British services are in a mess. My vote would be the trains. Expensive and not very good. You texted about having money to burn and what you would do if you had too much.

We turned our attention to George Osborne and the fact that finally he has made some policy announcements with the “Enterprise Budget”. Has it given him more credibility as an alternative chancellor? Possibly but you seem to want more examples and policies so you can make up your minds. It didn’t take long for you to trash the Conservatives new election slogan “Vote for Change”. How dull. Surely they could have done better?

And with staycations being so last year – many of you can’t be bothered worrying about the recession. You want to go on holiday, buy a car or replace your kitchen… and why not?! I was more surprised by the fact that over their lives women spend on average £4000 on handbags. I’d think it would be more like a year! And you send a load of texts on men and women and how they waste money. Seems like we do so in equal measures – just on different things!

I’m back tomorrow with Business & Property from 5pm
