Going into the family business, it used to be considered the norm, now if you do so arguably you are always viewed as the person who’s in the job because of someone. I just find it a bit bizarre that as we try to get fairness in our society this is one big area of inequality. I still feel we have some way to go on this.
I also find the rivalry between David and Ed Miliband curious. I think the sibling rivalry is intriguing and the discussions between them on the future of the Labour party is extraordinary. I wonder if there is any possibility that they won’t end up serving under whichever wins… I can certainly see David refusing to serve under younger brother Ed… I just wonder whether either of them will be strong enough to bring voters back to Labour. David might be too tainted with the past involvement with Blair and his government and Ed might be seen as too hardline left.
I was also joined by David Brackin of www.stuffusell.co.uk to give you some advice on the internet. Whatever your business you need an internet presence.
I’m back tomorrow from 1pm until 4
