Petrie Hosken in for James Whale on Drive

So... who's going to be the next Speaker? And how should we negotiate with hostage-takers?
Gordon Brown insists that his government has done all he can to secure the release of the Iraq hostages - that as the bodies of two of the 5 hostages were delivered to the british Embassy in Baghdad. The families disagree. I spoke to the father of Peter Moore - the IT consultant who they believe is a hostage. Peter’s father believes the politicians should stop talking and take some action. Get out there to Iraq. I'm sure it's something we could broaden out to a lot of other political topics - less talk, more action!   Are we now seeing proof that our police force is out of control? Photographs of two women jailed for 4 days and later released without charge have come out showing shocking control tactics on civilains. Is this ever justified? Security specialist Will Geddes gave his view, but do you have sympathy with police put in this situation> How should they 'control' protesters?  Death at Dignitas. Doctors are concerned that Brits are opting to die with non-fatal illnesses such as kidney disease and arthritis. Should we be able to choose a date to die or should we be terminal before we are allowed to choose? And throughout the show today, the vote for the new speaker of the House of Commons. Not sure what you make of it all... do you think it can make a difference to our political system? And do you believe them when they say they want reform?
