Pay-as-you-throw schemes are to be introduced later this year. More costs for us to cover then. Is it fair to tax people on the amount of waste they produce and is this going to be judged? By weight? Recyclable waste? Who knows. Another barmy idea.
The Ashcroft debate rumbles on as it turns out it's not that long since David Cameron found out about the non-dom status. The LEADER of the Tories has only just found out!! What hope does that give us? Or is it simply time to move on?
Plus - White British schoolboys from working-class families are falling behind their classmates at a greater rate than previously thought. Is this down to a failing education system or parenting?
