Tonight I was joined by music and entertainment journalist Ruth Barnes for the weekend’s showbiz.
We started off by talking about Hayley Tamaddon in Dancing on Ice, and whether she’s actually killing the show. She’s consistently been the highest scorer, and it’s getting a little boring. It’s also been reported that other contestants are complaining. And what a surprise, Hayley WASN’T the top scorer this week! I wonder if the producers are attempting to ramp up the drama somewhat?! We also discussed TV for older people after comments made by screenwriter Julian Fellowes this week that there isn’t any! Is that true?
The new video from Lady Gaga featuring Beyonce has had over 12 million views on YouTube in 3 days, and is being touted as the best pop video since Thriller. One thing’s for sure, I LOVE it, and hats off to the director Jonas Ackerland.
We also celebrated TV Mums for Mother’s day after a survey topped by Bianca Butcher from EastEnders as the nations’ favourite Mum!
