Why Blair should be held accountable

Posted by Andrew Pierce on December 13, 2009 at 14:31PM

Blair's admission, should we reform the voting system and government intercepts

1. so Tony Blair says it didn’t matter whether there were any weapons of mass destruction. Did he take us to war on the basis of a lie; or is he right that Saddam posed such a threat to world order he had to go. I think the  weapons of mass destruction were a fig leaf to cover Blair’s true ambitions to back his mate George W Bush.

2. do we need to reform the voting system, scrap first past the post system, to ensure we can get rid of safe seats which means MPs  can serve forever which means they never have to care what voters think of what they do. And why are the government stopping intercepts – telephone taps – from being used in terrorism trials.

3. Sue  Carroll from the daily Mirror reviewed the papers and stirred up a hornets’ nest by saying Tiger woods can never recover his reputation and that Mrs Woods should leave him. But is it any of our business? And X-Factor. Why simon Cowell should get a knighthood  for saving ITV.
