LBC Film Club: Free tickets for 'W.'

Each month with Cineworld, LBC VIPs have the chance to see the hottest new films before their general release in UK cinemas.

This month, we have a screening of Oliver Stone's highly-anticipated new film W.

A side of Bush you’ve never seen

“W.” starring Josh Brolin, James Cromwell, Ellen Burstyn, Elizabeth Banks, Thandie Newton and Richard Dreyfuss, is three times Oscar-winner Oliver Stone’s third cinematic examination of an American President, following his previous works of ‘JFK’ and ‘Nixon’.

“W.” is the story of George W. Bush; a man who struggled all his life with his personal demons, wrestling with them in his father’s long shadow. A Yale graduate, a transplanted son of Texas, a onetime drunk, a recent convert; how did this improbable person transform himself from reprobate and well-known black sheep of his esteemed family into Leader of the Free World?

How to get tickets

The screening will be on Wednesday 29th October at 6.30pm at Cineworld West India Quay. Tickets have now sold out.

Stay tuned for another LBC Film Club Screening next month.

“W.” will be released Nationwide by Lionsgate on Friday 7th November, 2008.
