London's Snow Disruption

We're being told the bad weather isn't behind us with gritters going out every two hours to try to try to keep disruption to a minimum.

The snow caused major problems in and around London overnight on Saturday on roads and at the airports.

On the M25 dozens of drivers were forced to spend the night in their cars - with some telling LBC 97.3 they were stuck for more than 7 hours after a lorry had jacknifed - blocking all the lanes.

The Met Office say their second highest severe weather warning is still in place - with the big concern now being ice.

The Highways agency are warning drivers not to travel unless absolutley necessary.  Transport for London have spread 2-thousand tonnes of grit over the weekend.

A third of Sunday's flights at Heathrow have been cancelled. Gatwick and Stansted say they're open as normal, but all passengers are being advised to check with their airline before setting off.
