Each month with Cineworld, LBC VIPs have the chance to see the hottest new films before their general release in UK cinemas.
This month, we have a screening of new Jennifer Aniston film Marley & Me.
Synopsis
Marley & Me is the No 1. US Box Office Smash Hit starring Owen Wilson and Jennifer Anniston. Directed by David Frankel – director of Devil Wears Prada - it is a light-hearted, emotional and heart-warming film focusing on the life of Mr. & Mrs. Grogan.
They’re a newly married couple who buy their first home, and begin to make their way through the challenges of a new marriage, new careers and the life-changing decision to start a family. The film includes funny moments, great drama, a little bit of sadness, and a slow dawning awareness of our own mortality.
To prepare themselves for the test of parenthood, the Grogan’s choose to get a dog – and that’s when Marley enters their family - a lovable hyperactive golden Labrador retriever puppy who is a free spirit but one with all the right intentions at heart. As time goes by, the Grogan’s family grows and Marley becomes the life and soul of their family, teaching them important life lessons.
Amidst the mayhem he generates throughout the years, Marley sees the Grogan’s through the ups and downs, the laughter and the tears, and the everlasting experiences the Grogan’s have. It doesn’t take long for the Grogan family to realise Marley – the world’s worst dog – somehow brings out the best in them.
