Man Shot On Brixton Street During Rush Hour

The Met Police gang unit is investigating a shooting in south London last night.
Emergency crews were called to Coldharbour Lane in Brixton at around 6pm. It was after reports that one member of a group of men, seen in the area of Moreland Road, was in possession of a firearm.
A 21-year-old man is being treated for injuries to his leg in hospital. His condition is not life-threatening.
No arrests have been made.
Officers from the Trident Shootings Team are investigating. Detective Sergeant Ewan Robertson said:
"Coldharbour Lane is a major thoroughfare. At 6 o'clock in the evening traffic was busy and there were a large number of people in the area. I am appealing for any witnesses who may have been present at the time the incident took place to contact police."
