What Is The Monster In The Olympic Park?
London's Olympic Park is home to a killer water monster, according to local reports.
The Hackney Citizen reports that a film-maker was in the Lea Valley by the Olympic Stadium when he witnessed a 16lb Canada Goose being dragged under the water by a mysterious beast.
Mike Wells said: "It was about midday. We were sat on deck of my boat watching the goose. Suddenly the bird just went vertically down into the water. I was absolutely gobsmacked.
"Whatever took it didn't come back up again. There was no sign of it whatsoever, but it was obviously pretty big."
The Sun asks whether it was a turtle, python or alligator, while a spokesperson for British Waterways said it may be a giant pike or a mink.
The number of swans on the river and waterways near the £9billion park in Stratford is also believed to be dropping.
