More about Clive Bull
Clive Bull - London's Late-night Legend
Clive Bull is best known for his award-winning evening phone-in show on LBC 97.3 FM.
Its enduring success stemmed from Clive's extraordinary rapport with his audience and his ability to move effortlessly from current affairs to the more quirky topics of the day - always sharing his opinions rather than simply playing devil's advocate.
Clive started to build a fan base with his original late night show, on which Peter Cook was a regular caller (posing as Sven from Swiss Cottage). The Independent hailed him 'Emperor of night-time talk radio', and the show was immortalised in a TV documentary. Clive has since picked up a Sony award and been voted Best Talk Show Host at the New York Festival. He was also the top ranked phone-in presenter in Radio Times' list of the most powerful people in the industry.
In his early career Clive was a keyboard player, a media reviewer and a music writer. Outside radio, he has narrated a number of films for Channel 4, Channel 5 and Sky.
