More about James Hartigan
James began his career in radio – as a film critic at BBC Radio Kent and journalist at County Sound Radio – before joining London’s Heart 106.2 in 1998 as the news anchor and celebrity interviewer on Jono Coleman’s Breakfast Show. He joined UBC Media (Unique) in 2001 to run the production company’s syndicated radio programming and left in early 2004 to return to live broadcasting. After three years presenting LBC News 1152’s Morning Report, James now co-hosts the weekday Drivetime programme on LBC 97.3 – London’s Biggest Conversation.As well as being a huge movie fan, James is passionate about poker. He plays on-line and (whenever possible) in Las Vegas. Over the last three years, he’s been able to combine his hobby and trade by becoming the face and voice of televised poker on a number of channels, including Eurosport and Challenge.
