More about Jim Davis

Jim has worked for LBC 97.3 for over 2 years. He began by covering for Gary King on ‘The Big Quiz’ and quickly moved onto ‘The Show That Could Change Your Life’, each weekday lunchtime. You can hear him now on Friday and Saturday nights from 10pm.

Jim also works for our sister station Heart.

Prior to coming to London, Jim hosted breakfast shows in the Midlands for Century FM and Signal 1 where he has been lucky enough to interview some of the biggest names in the world of music including George Michael, Annie Lennox, Cher and Diana Ross.

Outside of work, Jim loves travelling and has visited much of North America, Canada, South Africa (where he was born) & Europe. “I’ve been held at gun point in Johannesburg, drunk cocktails on yachts in the Caribbean Sea and even jumped off a mountain in the Alps and paraglided my way around Mont Blanc!" You’d be forgiven for confusing him with James Bond!

Jim’s other interests include property development. He has bought, renovated and sold several properties doing much of the work himself.

Even when Jim is relaxing he’s tends to go to ‘extremes’. He is a keen wakeboarder, which he explains as “kind of like snowboarding but on water”. So passionate about his hobby, Jim actually bought a speedboat so he could go more often!
