Police are hunting a man they believe filmed up a woman’s skirt in an East London poundshop.

Police are hunting a man they believe filmed up a woman’s skirt in an East London poundshop.

The police released this CCTV footage of the suspected voyeur who they believe was involved in an incident at Poundstretchers, Newham Broadway at around 5:30pm on the 7 June.

A woman in her mid 20s was shopping at the rear of the store when she was approached by a man. The man bent down beside her whilst she looked at the shelves above. After a period of time, she noticed the man filming with his mobile phone under her skirt.

Police say the woman shouted at him and he hastily left the store clutching his phone.

The suspect is described as a black man in his mid 30s with black stubble. He was wearing a white t-shirt with black writing, a black cap, dark jeans and white trainers.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who may recognise the man shown on CCTV.
