00:20

Police want to track down an opportunistic thief who broke into a school in Barnet but didn't spot the camera that was recording his every move.

The suspect is shown on camera approaching the door to the Dwight School London on Friern Barnet Lane. He has a look around inside and then forces the door open.

It's believed that a handbag with a Samsung Galaxy tablet was taken in the burglary.

The suspect is described as a black man, with short black hair. He was wearing a dark grey jumper, black trousers and dark trainers.

It happened on the evening of April 21st this year, but wasn't discovered until the morning after.
