A teenager has been scarred for life after she was put in a headlock and bitten on the face shortly after leaving a Kingston nightclub.

The 18-year-old had left Pryzm Nightclub in Eden Street at about 3:30am when she was attacked by an unknown blond-haired man, police say.

The thug put the victim in a headlock and then bit her face. She required immediate medical treatment and has been left with permanent scarring.

No arrests have been made but Scotland Yard is treating the brutal assault as GBH.

Det Con Robert Wise said: “This was a savage attack that has left a young girl with a permanent scar. We urgently want to find the person responsible.

“There would have been many people who witnessed this horrible assault and I would appeal to anyone with information to contact police."

Any witnesses or anyone with any information is asked to call Kingston CID on 101 or contact via Twitter @MetCC.

To give information anonymously contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or online at crimestoppers-uk.org.
