Gang Of 10 Teens Brutally Assaulted Man In Streatham

This is the moment a gang of teens battered a man unconscious just to steal his phone and a small amount of money.

Police have released CCTV footage of the incident outside the Astoria Cafe and Grill in Streatham on Saturday 30th April.

As the 19-year-old victim was walking along Streatham High Road, a group of 10 black teenagers attacked him, knocking him unconscious with a chair. His phone and some cash were taken.

The suspects captured by the CCTV being released by officers are described as black males, aged between 14 and 16, and wearing dark hooded tops.

A 13-year-old boy was arrested that night on suspicion of affray, robbery and possession of a class B drug and was subsequently bailed.
